QFORTE - Enhancement of Quality Assurance in Higher Education System in Moldova
Project summery
The project aims to strengthen Moldova’s integration into the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) by enhancing quality assurance mechanisms in higher education.
Key target groups include representatives of ministries responsible for higher education, quality assurance agencies, national Bologna promoters, and senior university managers.
Secondary target groups include quality assurance directors, Bologna coordinators, and operational staff working in quality assurance units.
QFORTE ensures that the academic sector’s perspectives are reflected in national policy discussions on internal and external quality assurance, and supports higher education institutions in building robust internal QA systems and fostering a culture of quality across institutions.
Specific objectives
Promote and consolidate a culture of quality assurance in Moldova and build national consensus among key stakeholders on development issues by November 2023.
Develop and promote a national legislative framework and stimulate regulatory reforms on quality assurance in Moldovan higher education institutions by November 2023.
Improve quality assurance management in Moldovan higher education institutions through international institutional accreditation by November 2023.
Strengthen the institutional capacity of Moldovan universities for the efficient and effective implementation of quality assurance reforms by November 2023.
