Project summery

The project addresses the challenges faced by higher education institutions in Moldova and Armenia in the field of research management and open science.

Its core mission is to enhance the efficiency, quality, and excellence of research capacities at institutional, national, and individual levels, while aligning with European Union best practices.

By establishing sustainable mechanisms for research management and open science, MINERVA contributes to strengthening academic performance, fostering social inclusion, and ensuring the accountability of publicly funded research.

The project’s target groups include university staff, researchers, students, and administrators engaged in or aspiring to participate in international research collaboration.

Specific objectives

Promote national and institutional guidelines, policies, and incentives related to open science in Moldova and Armenia by January 2022.

Establish digital repositories in all partner higher education institutions in both countries, and support the development and interoperability of their infrastructures by January 2021.

Build human research capacities to ensure the sustainable implementation of open science principles and to increase social inclusion and accountability of publicly funded research by January 2022.
